i suppose i don't play around in photoshop enough anymore; i don't put effort into my icons and such crap like that, so i got bored and decided to play around with blending crap. the rare times i color my art in photoshop, i blend the layers so that i don't have to erase shit. i just color right over it, and set all the layers to "darken". but i suppose the best way to figure out what looks nice is to just play around.

i could do more with it, like I DUNNO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE NOT CRAP but creativity is currently failing me.

the boxes in the corner were supposed to be a bit more dynamic with the erased parts; you can barely tell it's been erased. and the text was left untouched. ah well.
